The tour started in the fall of 2014, with its first run of shows starting on September 5th in Austin, Texas.

The Dazed and Confused Reunion Tour celebrates the 25th anniversary of "Dazed and Confused" by revisiting Dean's, The Moon Tower, and other performance settings from the film. All six bands that performed in "Dazed and Confused" will reunite for a single show at the Paramount Theater for two nights in Austin on September 5th and 6th, 2014.
